Once upon a time, there was a Girl and a Boy who lived very, very far apart. Girl met Boy, they fell in love, she moved halfway across the country to be with him and one day she made Boy some brownies from scratch which blew his mind. Little did they know that years later they would adopt the biggest cat you’ve ever seen, get married and start a food blog together.
Q: Cute story. But I was looking for The Catalyst: Cupcakes. Where did it go?
A: The Catalyst: Cupcakes is still here – sort of. Since we renamed the blog in April of this year we forwarded all of the old posts here and most posts will forward just fine. There are, however, a few old recipes that didn’t make the cut.
Q: So who are you guys?
A: We’re Lia and Frank. We think crusty bread, cured meat and some fragrant cheese is the perfect meal.
Q: What is this site about?
A: Sugar & Snapshots is a blog about food and sometimes other things. We love to bake and make some nice meals once in a while and we like to share the recipes we enjoy the most.
Q: What camera equipment do you use?
A: A Nikon D3100 with a Nikon 50mm f/1.8G
lens. It’s pretty basic but it gets the job done for a food blogger on a budget. After all, it’s not the size of the sensor that matters, it’s what you do with it, right?
